Hollywood Wants Priyanka Chopra In Kalpana Saroj Biopic

After making a smashing debut on American TV, Priyanka Chopra has captured a huge fan base in the US.
Now, a certain group of producers from Hollywood have approached Priyanka for a biopic on the rags-to-riches entrepreneur Kalpana Saroj.
For those not in the know, Kalpana got married at the age of 12. Subjected to physical abuse by her husband's family, she was later rescued by her father.
At the age of 16, she moved back to Mumbai and started working in a garment factory to support her family, after which she started a tailoring business and then a furniture store.
Kalpana was on the board of Kamani Tubes when it went into liquidation in 2001, and after taking over the company, restructured it and brought it back on track. Today, she is at the helm of a $112 million empire.
In 2013, the lady was awarded the Padma Shri for Trade and Industry.
